BOOKS

These are some of my favorite books:

I really like to read. I've been reading since I was 2 or 3 and I've went through literally thousands of books. As a matter of fact, I read all of these books by 6th grade. To Kill A Mockingbird, Fahrenheit 451, and Flowers For Algernon are all "simple" books to most readers, but I felt that they were well-written and worth your time. Flowers For Algernon had a lot of themes that I don't think most children would pick up on, or even if they did, those themes wouldn't seem tangible to a child who hasn't made the transition to adulthood. Of all the books I've ready, both trendy and obscure, Lightning was probably my favorite. It had very three-dimensional characters and a solid plot. 1984 is mandatory for anyone who thinks "what if?", or has a sneaking suspicion about the government.

One of the best short stories I've ever read was "Time and Again" by Breece DJ' Pancake (yes, I realize you don't know who I'm talking about)
